All of our operators, appointed persons, lifting supervisors and support staff are qualified to the recognised industry standards and all employees have a personal training and development plan. All of our cranes, lifting and associated equipment are thoroughly examined and inspected by independent, third-party engineers. Crane Hire Options. Dewsbury & Proud work to the terms and conditions of the Construction Plant Hire Association (CPA) and in accordance with BS7121, The Safe Use of Cranes. Under these we offer both CPA Crane Hire and CPA Contract Lift. CPA Crane Hire Under the terms of a CPA Crane Hire Agreement, the crane and operator are the responsibility of the customer when the crane leaves the public highway to gain access to the site. The customer is accountable and responsible for the planning of the lift, the personnel involved, associated equipment and the supervision of the crane operation and insurances.
